Your React Native App Says ‘New Architecture.’ Your Dependencies May Disagree.

Every React Native migration has a moment where somebody flips a flag, the app still launches, and the room collectively decides that the hard part must be over. This is a lovely moment. It is also a terrible time to stop looking. The New Architecture is not only a setting in your app configuration. It is a contract…

nvm Keeps Eating My Global Packages: Building node-snapshot to Get Them Back

If you use nvm and you install your CLI tools globally, you have probably lived this moment: you bump Node to the latest patch, open a fresh terminal, type tsc (or eslint, or yarn, or whatever you live inside), and the shell just… shrugs. It was there yesterday. You didn't uninstall anything. But nvm doesn't carry…

new Promise(async ...), 내 에러 어디 갔니?

Naver Login on React Native's New Architecture: What My TurboModule Rewrite Changes (and What It Doesn't)

If you've ever tried to move a real app onto React Native's New Architecture, you know the drill: you flip the flag, run the build, and then one dependency at a time reminds you it was written for the old Bridge. Naver Login was that dependency for me. So I rewrote it — react-native-naver-login-turbo — as a real…
